The Distinguished Service Award was established in 2021 to honor and acknowledge colleagues, vendors, service providers and/or friends of Texas orchestra directors that have offered consistent, strong and unwavering support of TODA. This support may be manifested in various ways and priceless to TODA.
Criteria for Nomination
This award is determined by the TODA Board of Directors
Member Suggestions are welcome
Nominations should be submitted by TODA members only
Nominations should include:
Name and address of Nominee
Brief biographical information
Recommendation information (may include newspaper articles, letters of recommendation, or other documentation)
Selection Process
TODA Board of Directors will select the recipient at the TMEA Board Meeting
TODA President will notify the recipient
Recipient must be present at the TODA Convention to accept the award from the TODA President
Nominator and nominations will roll forward three years (as long as this still meets the criteria for years of experience) for consideration by the TODA Board members.
